The new Birdy Box is the next generation of social alarm base unit for Telecare and Telehealth with advanced GPRS IP-based functions for local alarm and remote supervision capabilities. Peripherals include pendant and watch-style alarm triggers with additional options for sensors and RFID reader for monitoring of visiting care staff. The unit has an integral room temperature sensor with alarm settings and can also be used to link with health monitors such as those for blood pressure, weight or other devices for remote health checks. Calls can be made to the base unit by a remote do
ctor or nurse.
